Vacheron Constantin is one of the most expensive wrist watch brands, from Swiss origin. The journey of this prestigious watch making started on 1755 in Geneva, the founder member was Jean-Mark Vacheron, and he was only 24 years of age when he started his watch-making business. In 1814, the third-generation owner Jacques Barthelemy Vacheron felt the requirement of another partner. He traveled all over the world and established their products by opening new franchisees, and strong distributors’ network. There was another key person in the history of Vacheron Constantin is Georges-Auguste Leschot. He was a mechanical genius and incorporated multiple new features in production method.
Due to Georges-Auguste Leschot the production cost was abruptly reduced and thus the company could implement a fantastic new feature in the process of watch making.
